Messages, Life Lessons & Love from Lori Michelle: HE SAID: “Don’t wrestle the Sumo Wrestler, the EVIL ONE. Walk away instead.”
While people often make our lives difficult, we can learn to spot the evil inclination in action, the yetzer hara, and walk away instead of engaging them. When Hashem said, “Don’t wrestle the Sumo Wrestler, the evil one” He wasn’t saying that we should let evil win. He was explaining that when you are choosing God and goodness, you have already won, so walk away instead. If enough people learn how to choose correctly we will eventually conquer this monster, the evil inclination a.k.a. the yetzer hara. When enough people wake up and remove this evil inclination from themselves, we will experience peace in our world. The power to change this world for the better is within you.
