Since then, this date is celebrated as the birth of American independence and a celebration of freedom. While the USA is the beacon of freedom around the world, who is truly free? We all suffer from various forms of institutional slavery and humanity is not truly free in this physical world. Our true freedom is a gift that comes from God Almighty, not mankind.
