It’s a common expression that we hear all the time, especially people who believe in God will say that as a form of consolation. If you’re struggling or if they’re struggling they say, “Well God doesn’t give us more than we can handle so I’ll get through this.”
Is it true?
I posed the question to Hashem today. I said, “Hashem. Do you ever give us more than we can handle?” His answer was “Yes! All the time! All the time.”
That’s the answer. He gives us much more than we can handle all the time. The question we should be asking is how do we handle it? If He’s giving us more than we personally can handle, how do we bear it and why are we dealing with so much? Those questions need to be answered.
The answer to how to handle it is reach for Him. He is your salvation. He is your rock and your foundation. Through Him you can handle and bear much more than you could ever hope to bear on your own. The answer is—He definitely give us all more than we can handle. The solution is—reach for Him. That’s what He is there for. That’s what He desires. He gives us a mountain to climb and He is there to help you every step of the way.
Why? We are here to grow and ascend and reach higher and be better than we were the day before.
I hope this gives you food for thought and is uplifting too. Because if you reach moments of despair and someone says to you “Don’t worry. God doesn’t give you more than you can handle.” you can rest assured that you are not a failure. You just need to reach for Him harder and stronger than you ever did before.
God bless you. Let’s listen and learn and work for peace and come together as one family that we were intended to be under one God. God bless you and may there be peace in our world in our time. God bless you.
